Commonwealth of Massachusetts Accelerated Bridge Program (ABP)
The ABP is an eight year three billion dollar program that will reduce the Commonwealth's backlog of structurally deficient bridges. The ABP will offer significant construction contracting opportunities to primes and subcontractors as well as small, minority and women-owned construction companies.
Economic Stimulus - the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)
The commonwealth expend $437.9 million a year for two years on road and bridge construction projects through the Massachusetts Recovery Plan, supported by funds through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The ARRA program will offer significant construction contracting opportunities to primes and subcontractors as well as small, minority and women-owned construction companies.
